Data-Privacy Terms
Last updated: 19 June 2026
This tool (operated by Grundauf) audits a website you supply for GDPR / ePrivacy issues by loading the page in a server-side headless browser. This notice explains the data we store when you run a check.
What we store
For each analysis you trigger, we store:
- the requester's IP address;
- the requested URL / domain;
- your confirmation that you are authorised to analyse the website (the ticked checkbox), with a timestamp.
We do not store the analysed page's content or any cookie values. The analysis report itself is held only briefly for retrieval and is not persisted in a way linked to your IP.
Purpose and legal basis
The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in preventing abuse and overload, and in keeping a record that each scan was attested as authorised. Because the tool loads third-party websites, this logging is necessary to investigate misuse.
Storage location and sharing
Records are stored in a local database on our server and are not sold or shared with third parties.
Retention
Records are automatically deleted after 12 months.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase and object to the processing of your data. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@grundauf.com.
